STRIPES Women in MedTech Launches Comprehensive Mentorship Program

Fort Myers, FL – May 22, 2024 – STRIPES Women in MedTech is proud to announce the launch of its highly anticipated Mentorship Program. This initiative connects aspiring and established female professionals in the MedTech industry to help foster growth, innovation and leadership through personalized mentorship and robust networking opportunities.

"Our Mentorship Program is designed to empower women at every stage of their careers," said Lisa Jacobs, Co-Founder of STRIPES. "By connecting mentees with experienced mentors, we aim to create a supportive community where knowledge is shared, skills are honed, and professional growth is accelerated."

The program offers a unique opportunity for participants to learn, share and grow in a supportive and empowering environment. Key features of the STRIPES Mentorship Program include:

  • Personalized Matches: Mentors and mentees are paired based on role, industry, location and professional goals, ensuring meaningful and impactful relationships.

  • Professional Growth: Participants gain insights from experienced MedTech professionals and learn new skills to navigate their career paths with confidence.

  • Flexible Engagement: Mentors and mentees can connect through calls, video conferences or, where possible, in-person meetings tailored to fit their schedules.

  • Networking Opportunities: Through the mentorship program and other STRIPES events, participants can expand their professional networks within the MedTech industry.

Kim Sullivan, Chair of the Mentorship Program at STRIPES, highlighted mentorship's transformative potential during her recent STRIPES webinar, "The Power of Mentorship," which is now available online for the STRIPES community.

"Mentorship is a powerful tool for professional development and personal growth," Sullivan emphasized. "Our program is designed to provide women in MedTech with the guidance, support and resources they need to achieve their full potential."

The STRIPES Mentorship Program is open to all women working in or aspiring to work in the MedTech industry, regardless of career stage. Participants can expect to connect for at least one hour monthly, with additional interactions encouraged, as needed, based on mutual availability.
